At Pennings Farm Market, the most prominent flavor in our ice cream just may be nostalgia! Our old fashioned soft serve custard and more than 24 flavors of old-school hard pack ice cream give kiddos from ages 1 to 99 a certain special down-home feeling of days-gone-by. Could be the barn that houses the ice-cream stand*, could be the barn yard buddies that run along the fence-line in hopes of a nibble or two of animal feed or could simply be the variety of flavors of yore, like chocolate, vanilla and strawberry with white lightening possibly being the most exotic flavor on the menu.
For those who are reluctant to limit themselves to ice cream alone, the menu options include sundaes and shakes that allow for the addition of one or a combo of many of the available candy, nut and fruit toppings. During peach season, an added burst of sweetness from our orchard-grown peaches set atop a cup of vanilla soft-serve or hard pack makes for one of summer’s most refreshing flavor combinations.

Behold the warm apple cider donut. A favorite throughout the seasons, these soft, sugary treats become a high-demand commodity around the farm come Fall.
Offered year round by the dozen and half dozen inside the farm market, the outside Donut Shack opens its doors every September to feed the mass exodus of apple pickers who line up by the hundreds to procure their own fresh-baked dozen.
