The mission of the bars at Pennings Farm is to serve a variety of craft beers, hard ciders and wine giving a nod to those from New York State, with the greatest emphasis on those produced by our neighboring brewers here in Orange County, New York.
Craft beer and hard cider enthusiasts can count on a fluid selection of 12 craft beverage taps and a lengthy menu of as many as 25 canned options.
Enjoy a Pint or Glass on the Farm OR Grab a Bottle or Growler to Go
The Apple Grader Pub is a modernized interpretation of what it would be like to imbibe craft beverage in a farm-like setting. Patrons are served on a bar-top that was repurposed from an authentic apple grader used for decades at Pennings to sort apples grown on-site.
During the warmer months, we also open our outdoor Beer Garden, which overlooks the orchards and barnyard. The Beer Garden is an open-air and picnic area is a family-friendly space where you can dine al fresco and enjoy live music on select weekends.
To satisfy all tastes, styles of craft beer poured at the Apple Grader Pub and the Beer Garden run the gamut:
• Pale Ales
• Strong Ales
• India Pale Ales
• Dark Lagers
• Belgian Styles
• Sour Beers
• Brown Ales
• Scottish Style Ales
• Pilsners
• Pale Lagers
• Wheat Beers
• Porters
• Stouts
• and any new specialty, hybrid or collaborative brew that becomes available!
Craft Beverages Have Strong Roots on the Farm
Keeping in line with the mission at Pennings Farm of #farmforlife, the New York’s booming craft beverage industry finds firm roots here on our Warwick farm.
With a thankful thumbs-up to recent legislature that leads craft beverage producers to choose New York ingredients for their products, Pennings is a haven for craft beverage enthusiasts to enjoy some of the best products around, right here in New York.
Governor Cuomo’s initiatives have seen significant growth in the number of manufacturers supporting our local farms and spurring job creation across the Empire State. We can’t help but to emphasize #farmforlife!
